The UN's World Population Prospects forecasts that with changing growth rate trends in 24 years (in 2050) Taiwan's population will shrink by 15.5% to 19,598,997 people with a rank change from 60th to 76th. The population of Vietnam will increase by 7.66% to 110,008,910 people and will still be ranked 16th.
